Delivery and returns

 

Delivery

Nala Health can deliver right to your door and to all addresses throughout South Africa.
Delivery normally takes between 1-3 working days in Cape Town. Other main centres in South Africa will take between 3-5 working days. If you live in a remote area, the delivery may take longer.
• Purchase Over R500: Free delivery
• Purchase under R500: R60

The goods are sent to you with one of our logistics partners. They will notify you by SMS or e-mail of the package’s arrival at the delivery location. It is the customer’s responsibility to check that their contact information is correct and to monitor their phone and e-mail for the notification to collect the package. All delivery times stated by us is an indication and delivery times can vary.

You are responsible for checking that the content and ingredients of the food you buy are suitable for the needs of your dog. If you are unsure, please contact us on support@nalahealth.dog and we will be happy to help you find the best options for your dog.

Delivery times

Mondays to Fridays: 08h00-17h00, except public holidays.

We can accommodate specific delivery times and express delivery at the customer’s cost. This can only be confirmed by customer services after your order has been received and paid for. Please contact us by email at support@nalahealth.dog for assistance.

Returns

Criteria for returning an item:

Before returning an item, contact customer support at support@nalahealth.dog to lodge the return. You cannot return opened food or used goods.

  1. The return must be lodged within 7 days of the item being bought or delivered, whichever is later.
  2. The item must be in a re-sellable condition except in the case of damaged or faulty items.
  3. The item must qualify as an item that can be returned. See non-returnable items below.
  4. The item must be in its original packaging.
  5. You are responsible for the cost of the return and the safety of the parcel until it has arrived at our warehouse. We also charge a R50 admin fee for the returned goods.
  6. The goods must be packaged in a responsible manner, and damaged goods will not be refunded if the damage happened after delivery to you.

Non-returnable items:

  • Opened food, supplements or snacks. Except for: items of food that are damaged prior to receipt or where the expiry date on the item precedes the delivery date.
  • Items explicitly marked as non-returnable.

No one is home

If no one is home, we will attempt to deliver the parcel the next day. You will be informed by SMS or e-mail about this. For uncollected deliveries, you will be charged a return fee of R250.

Should traffic accidents, extreme weather conditions and other unforeseen conditions occur, the delivery may be delivered outside the expected delivery time. To the best of our ability, we will inform our customers by SMS if such situations arise.

Complaints related to any deficiencies/errors must be sent to customer service at support@nalahealth.dog as soon as possible and no later than 7 working days after delivery.
